Problem: App resets itself in the middle of the day and does not save data (especially applies to Samsung S25)

Symptom:

• The app resets itself in the middle of the day
• Data is no longer saved
• Sensor flashes green but data disappears
• The sensor resets itself despite the user opening the app several times per day

Cause: Samsung S25 has aggressive battery optimization that turns off background services and prevents data saving.

Solution:

Step 1: Battery optimization

1. §Go to Settings > Apps > HAVS Protect
2. Tap on Battery
3. Select "Unlimited" or "Do not optimize"
4. Enable "Allow background activity"

Step 2: Samsung-specific settings

1. Go to Settings > Device care > Battery
2. Tap on App management
3. Add HAVS Protect to "Apps that never sleep"

Step 3: Background data

1. Go to Settings > Apps > HAVS Protect
2. Tap on Mobile data and Wi-Fi
3. Enable "Background data" and "Unlimited data usage"
